Description

Milwaukee is well-known for its many parks. But, the Milwaukee River hasn't always been a prime attraction. But, thanks to several grants and the hard work of volunteers, you can now hike or mountain bike along the Milwaukee River in what is best described as Milwaukee's Central Park. What I found was a hidden urban gem. The trail winds its way through the deep river valley. You will be amazed at how quickly you forget that you are in the heart of the city. The East Bank Trail itself is short, but it connects to many more trails in Riverside Park and Estabrook Park.
