Description
Nestled within a pine forest along a broad ridge north of Laramie Peak, Esterbook Campground is a terrific jumping-off point for recreating in the Laramie Peak Unit of the Douglas Ranger District.Trailhead for Sunset Ridge Trail. Black Mountain Lookout is located to the south.Directions
Campground is approximately 3 miles west of Esterbrook , WY on Forest Service Road 633.From Douglas, WY take Highway 94 (Esterbrook Road) south for 17 miles, then 11 miles south on County Road 5, then 3 miles east on Forest Road 633.The roads are well signed and easily accessible to automobiles.Activities

12 campsites, with tables and fire grates, drinking water, vault toilets, no host on site. Trash pickup. Semi primitive campground.Campsites will accommodate trailers under 22 feet long.
