Description

Surrounded by large pines and hardwoods, this area offers camping, picnicking and fishing. Campers have five campsites with tent pads and picnic tables to choose from along the edge of the lake.

The town of Hillsboro is located off of Highway 11 south of Monticello. Take paved county road southeast from Hillsboro for 3 miles.

Activities

Fishing for bass, bream and catfish is popular among visitors. This area is closed to fishing at certain times of the year so check State and Forest Service fishing regulations beforehand.

This area is equipped with restrooms, but drinking water is not available. Campsites are equipped with tent pads and picnic tables.
