Description

his campground, managed by the Forest Service, is located near a scenic beach, once a village site for the Auk Tlingit Natives. It has 12 camping sites, 10 of which accommodate vehicles larger than 20 feet. All sites have picnic tables and fireplaces. A vault toilet and water faucets are available. First come, first served; no reservations taken. Fee is $8 per night.

Turn left from the ferry terminal and drive 1.5 miles or drive about 15 miles on the Glacier Highway from downtown Juneau.

Do not camp here!!!!! I've been here since May 2nd 09. Every other night the quiet of the forest is broken by young drunk locals, drinking, shouting, playing loud music until 2 AM.
