Years ago, Dolly Copp was my staging campground for day hiking the Northern Presidentials and trout fishing on the Peabody River. The campground was great!

The campground will be full during any holiday weekend. Reservations are a must. Mid-week gets less use, and after Labor Day weekend, things quiet down considerably until the peak of foliage season.

one of the best campgrounds in the nation,plenty of privacy yet very close to town for everything you need,you'll be hard pressed to find one any better!!

we called this the dolley crapper, not dolly copp. We were located downwind from the pit toilet which might have added to our poor rating.
