Calhoun Falls State Recreation Area is located 1 mile north of Calhoun Falls, SC off SC Hwy. 81. Driving Directions: From Hwy. 72, take Hwy. 81 N. at the intersection in Calhoun Falls. Proceed approximately 1 mile, the park will be on the left.

I’m a tent camper by nature, and usually avoid large developed campgrounds, but I liked Calhoun Falls campground. This is the best designed campground I have ever seen. RV campers will enjoy this one!

The walk-in tent sites were outstanding. Water spigots were centrally located and a clean vault toilet was close enough to be convenient. All tent sites except one are right on the water.

Tents, RV's and campers. This ia a place for all to enjoy!
