Description

Secluded in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this 27 acre mountain getaway offers relaxing accommodations for just about every taste and budget. Chalets, cottages and cabins are available as well as RV sites with hook-ups and primitive tent camping pads. The location of Mountain Rest Cabins and Campground couldn't be better for easy access to the many attractions that South Carolinas Golden Corner has to offer.

Services

18 themed chalets, cottages or cabins. Creek-side and wooded primitive tent sites. RV pads.

Chalets and cottages are fully equipped. Cabins are basic but cozy. No running water but a clean bathhouse is nearby. RV pads have water and 30/50amp hook-ups. Tent pads are near the bathhouse.

Pet-friendly campground owners require a $30 non-refundable deposit for 1st pet ($5 for each additional) in chalets, cottages and cabins. Current shots and tag required. Pets must be good natured and be in the company of owner at all times.

Tunnel Town Express Store offers just about anything a camper would need for supplies, and a breakfast at Betty's (inside the store) is a good idea!

Fees

$12 - $220 daily; primitive campsites to chalets. One time cleaning fee of $15-$75. Reservations are accepted with a 50% deposit. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, travelers checks accepted. Rates are subject to change; call for current prices.
