This is a nice City owned Campgrounds. Club house is for groups and meetings. Ice machine in club house for all paid guests. Three fishing ponds and River nearby. Play ground for kids as well as an on site day care during the weekdays if you want to go out during the day (privately owned) Cabins furnished with out linens or towels. Great place for snow-birding in the winter. Rates are:

Laundry facilities available on site and do a bang up job for you for only a dollar wash and dry. There is no pool or other amenities included. The grounds are clean and well kept up almost on a daily basis. Bath house could use some paint but its cleaner than most that I have stayed at by far. I stayed here from April 08 until today (Aug 09) and will stay until next April then back north. Pull through spaces have no sewer hookup, all back in spaces on hill do however. There is a on site dump station on a dirt road in the grounds. I rate this place four stars out of five because of no pool or wi/fi. Lots of trees and shade and large meadow for kids to play ball or fetch with Rover or Spot. Few mice as a few feral cats around the place. Swimming in the river or in a clear water spring fed pool with in a short walking distance from camp. Great fishing with three ponds and a river. Marina also for your boat.

fishing, camping, hiking, some nature trails in area. Nearby lakes, Caves, state and national parks. Shopping nearby in Chattahoochee for groceries, Sneeds for groceries and hardware. All else in Quincy or Marianas Fla for Wall-Mart and such (20 min by car)

Services

Bath house, laundry, ice, 30 and 50 amp hook ups in marked sites. Also 15 amp and water to most tent sites. Club house for meetings and group gatherings. NO POOL. Day care on site. Pets welcome but must be on a leash at all times and picked up after. Police patrolled often. Park attached to campground with boat ramp. Toilets etc.

(850) 663-8000 or (850) 663-4475 Also pull in and find a site, No manager on duty but they come around twice a day or stop in at the city hall and take care of biz there too. New grounds host has not been hired following the old ones retirement as of Aug 09.
