Description

Shaded by a canopy of trees with a shoreline view of the Indian River Lagoon, campers have access to a fishing pier, swimming pool, recreation hall, shuffleboard and local attractions. Peaceful and well shaded, Manatee Hammock is a great space launch viewing site located along the Indian River Lagoon just south of Titusville and due east of Orlando and Disney World.



On the shore of the Indian River Lagoon...This 26.45 acre campground is a well shaded and quiet hammock of pines, palms and foilage providing habitat to squirrels, birds, and tropical creatures.



The river offers shoreline fishing and a perfect view of space launches at Kennedy Space Center. Campers also enjoy access to a recreation hall with a small swimming pool and reception grill area, a fire ring, a mid-sized pavilion, two shuffleboard courts, and a horse shoe pit.



Offering a secluded oasis with easy access to urban amenities, Manatee Hammock is a perfect launch pad to Space Coast parks and attractions, and to East Central Florida.

To reach Manatee Hammock from I-95, take Exit 215 and go east for 3 miles on SR 50. Turn south on U.S. Hwy 1 and go 3.5 miles to the campground entrance on the east side of the highway.

Fishing, swimming, lots of R&R. KSC (Kennedy Space Center) & Canaveral National Sea Shore is close by. Many other things to do locally.

2-night minimum payment must be received before confirmation of reservation. Balance must be paid upon check-in for reservations for less than 30-days. For camping reservations longer than 30-days, payment must be made 30-days in advance to guarantee site each month. If remainder of stay is less than 30-days, payment must be in full.

Very nice campground with nearby FL attractions such as KSC and the Cape Canaveral National Sea Shore, among others as well. Very shaded campground with a lagoon front shoreline for great lagoon fishing.
