Description

The Santos Trailhead and Campground day use area includes separate trailheads for hikers, off-road bikers and equestrians and has picnic pavilions, potable water and restrooms.



The campground, which opened in April 2005, has 24 sites with fire rings, picnic tables, water and electric (20, 30 & 50 amps) hook-ups It has a bathhouse/restroom, picnic pavilions and a dump station. A camp host resides in the campground year-round.

Directions

From I-75 exit on Hwy. 484 (Belleview exit) and head about 2 miles west to Hwy. 475. Head north (left) on Hwy 475 about 4 to 5 miles to S.E. 80th Street. Head east (right) on S.E. 80th to just before it crosses SR 441. The entrance will be on your right about half a block from SR 441. Just south of Ocala, FL.

Activities

Miles of of beautiful country side to hike, over 30 miles of off-road biking (ranging from easy to extremely difficult), and miles of trails for horse back riding. Great scenery!

Great campground and the rangers are just fantastic. Campground has clean and great facilities offered for the campsite and for the MTBR's & Hikers.
