Description

Excellent campground to relax after a strong day's hike. Bright Angel Creek along the campsites provides the best foot massage! Neighboring Phantom Ranch provides basic provisions via it's canteen/store as well as several watering pumps. BAC has it's own compost bathroom.

Directions

Located at the bottom of GCNP next to Phantom Ranch. Reachable from the North Rim via North Kaibab Trail and from the South Rim via Bright Angel Trail or South Kaibab Trail.
 

Activities

Bright Angel Creek in which to relax and cool off. Plenty of activities in nearby Phantom Ranch, including Ranger programs. Good base for some side day hikes(highly recommend a sunrise hike up Clear Creek Trail)
