This campgrounds needs less than 1 star....the main bad feature is its rude staff....they are awful, like they don't want your business. We tried to use it for our yearly group Labor Day weekend camping and they treated us like dirt, just like the dirt in all their roads that the rude staff lifts every time they drive their golf carts at unsafe speeds around. They are unfriendly, rude, harassers, unaccommodating and way overpriced (lodging and general store items)....do not recommend at all, the only way to save this campground is with a staff replacement. Don't waste your time and money, go somewhere where you will be appreciated!!!

We will never go back to this campground again. We visited in July an found the bathrooms and showers to be filthy and disgusting. No one cleaned them or even replaced toilet papers for the two days we were there. The petting zoo is not properly taken care of and I saw a rat come out of the "zoo." We notified them and ask to cancel our third nigt. We were told by the unfriendly staff that they were going to charge us even if we didn't stay. We left anyway and will never go back.

We stayed at Yosemite Pines with my husband and three children. The campground and rv resort is set among pine trees and terraced into the hillside with gravel roads. Great place for the kids as they thoroughly enjoyed the petting zoo, gold mine tour, and movie night! The resort has a really nice pool and tot lot. Although they didn’t have a gym my husband worked out on the fitness bars which had pull-up and chin-up equipment out in the woods. Although the resort is about a half hour to 45 minute drive to Yosemite National Park, it’s a very scenic drive. The waterfalls were great and the whole family had a great time. We returned each night to Yosemite Pines exhausted and either did the movie night or told stories around the campfire. The bathrooms and laundry areas were clean. Yosemite Pines had a small store where you could buy basic foods, snacks, and beer. The town of Groveland is a neat little historic town and we usually bought groceries there.

We took a two day trip to Yosemite National Park and being on a budget we found out about the buy one, get one free special at Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging. We booked the nicest cabin available and the cost was $159 for two nights. We travelled with another couple so it came out to $80 per night or $40 per couple per night. With our gas and food we bought in Groveland the entire trip was less than $150 for two days of lodging and travel. The luxury cabins were brand new and fully furnished. Decked out in wood interiors and cozy. Yosemite Pines is about 30-45 minutes to the western entrance to Yosemite National Park. The property is a woodsy feel set into a terraced hillside with gravel roads. Although popular with kids we checked out the petting zoo, gold mine tour, and even tried gold panning. At nights we made a fire and barbecued our dinners. Will return next year.
