Description
One of the best kept secrets in the Angelina National Forest is Bouton Lake Campground. Completed in 1963, this area provides visitors with primitive camping, fishing and hiking amidst bottomland hardwoods and cypress trees.Whether in an RV or tent camping, visitors have seven sites to choose from, and each has a picnic table and campfire ring. There are no electrical hookups.There is no drinking water available.Directions
Follow Highway 63 east from Zavalla for 7 miles; turn right (south) on Forest Road 303 for 7 miles to Bouton Lake.Activities
