Spent night at Mortimer campground with family on Monday, practically having the entire campground to ourselves. It has several trails, clean restroom and shower facilities, a small local store with friendly staff nearby and many more trails nearby. I would highly recommend one on Pineola Road, which is a 1 lane road with very little traffic, down to a fall. It was about a mile to the falls, but worth every step. I'd like to thank the man at the store for recommending that area, he said we might see a bear in that area, didn't see the bear but enjoyed the road. There is a wonderful sandwich shop near the end of that road. I look forward to going back to Mortimer campground and that area of the mountains.

we camped the week before memorial weekend this camp ground.we found it to be very nice and camp ground host was very friendly .we will be returning.
