Description
This small campground is located along Homestake Creek in a forested setting at the mouth of the Homestake Valley. Homestake reservoir is a 480 acre reservoir. It is about 10 miles west on Homestake Road. The area is excellent for wildlife viewing.Directions
Off Interstate 70, take Exit #171 for Minturn and Highway 24. Turn right and continue about 12 miles to Homestake Road #703, passing through Minturn. Turn right onto Homestake Road and proceed 1/4 mile to the campground. The last 1/4 mile is on a dirt road.Activities
