Description

This campground is operated on a first come, first served basis.* This area provides access to the Flat Tops Wilderness. Please obey all Wilderness regualtions.* The use or presence of mechanized or motorized equipment (including bikes & boat or game carts) is prohibited within the Flat Tops Wilderness. No mechanized boats allowed on Trappers Lake.

Bucks campground is located 50 miles east of the town of Meeker Colorado.* From Meeker, take State Highway 13 east for 1 mile.* Where highway 13 turns North, turn east on Rio Blanco County Road 8 for 39 miles.* Turn southeast on Trappers Lake Road (FDR 205) for 11 miles. When you reach The Lodge at Trappers Lake, a sign will point you across the bridge to the campground.
