Activities

Luna Lake Campground can best be described as a pleasant vacation neighborhood with tastefully spaced big trees, lots of grass, a lake with good fishing, first rate mountain scenery and additional recreation facilities located within easy travel distance. This friendly camp is located in a relatively open stand of ponderosa pines within easy walking distance of Luna Lake. The lake is a medium-sized body of water regularly stocked with rainbow trout by the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Fishing is best here early in the season, from ice-out in March till late June, because water is drawn from the lake for irrigation purposes and the lake gets low and warm in the summer.

Rate is set annually. 2003 fee: Family sites - $8.00/night; $4.00/night for 2nd vehicle; Large group site ""A"" fee - $75.00/night for up to 100 people, $1.00/person over 100 people; Small group site fee - $30.00/night for up to 20 people
