Description
There is a maximum of eight campers to a site and a maximum of 14 days continuous use. Campfires are restricted to fire rings.Directions
Located 11 miles southwest of Murphysboro, Illinois. From Illinois Route 3 take Oakwood Bottoms Road east to Turkey Bayou Campground along side the Big Muddy River.Activities
Fishing: Boat launch into the Big Muddy River. Fishing is allowed in the Big Muddy River.Nature Viewing: An interconnecting levee system within Oakwood Bottoms Greentree Reservoir offers the naturalist wonderful opportunities for bird watching.Guidebooks
