Description

Welcome to the Leith Run Recreation Area. This multi-purpose development on the banks of the Ohio River is a popular attraction on the Wayne National Forest. This fully accessible facility offers a variety of activities. The area is operated by a private concessionaire and though normally open daily from mid April to mid-October. The campground is open 24 hours a day. The day use area is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Services

There are 18 overnight camping sites available. Each campsite has electrical hookups, grills, fire rings, picnic tables, and lantern posts. Water hydrants are nearby and hot water showers, flush toilets and a conveniently located dump station are also available. The fee for camping is $20/night. Primitive tent sites are available for $10/night (no electricity). A campground host will collect fees from mid April through mid October.Each of the campsites can accommodate a 40 foot trailer except for site # 9 which can accommodate a maximum of 30 foot trailer.

Campsite 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 14 and 15 may be reserved through the National Recreation Reservation System.

Fees

Campsites are $20 per night ($10/night for tent sites). Group Shelters are $55 per day. Golden Age and Golden Access Passports allow a 50 percent discount. NRRS charges a $9 service charge on all reservations.
