Description

Nestled among pine covered hills you will find a cool, twelve acre spring-fed lake, which offers a variety of recreation opportunities for everyone. Camping, swimming, fishing and picnicing are available at the lake and four mountain bike and hiking trails begin within the recreation area.

Directions

Clear Springs is 4 miles south of US Hwy 84. It is 35 miles west of Brookhaven and 32 miles east of Natchez. It is 5 miles west of Meadville on Hwy. 84; turn south on Clear Springs Road (County Road 104), go 4 miles to the recreation area entrance

Activities

Swimming is allowed between March 1 and September 30. A roped off swimming area is available but there is no lifeguard on duty.>An area with swings and a playground equipment is located near the lake

Clear springs is one of the top rated campgrounds in the south. They have small creeks to explore that lead you to a large lake. Each camp site is secluded and private and some have multiple landings for multiple tents at a single site. It is beautiful and a great place to bring the whole family.
