Description

A sidewalk leads from the parking lot to a shaded stone patio with benches overlooking tranquil Lane Spring. The beautiful surroundings have made it a popular spot for weddings.

Directions

From Rolla, MO take Hwy 63 south 12 miles, then turn west at the large Forest Service sign. Follow this road for 1.5 miles. Both campground and picnic area are adjacent to Little Piney Creek.

Activities

Hiking: Blossom Rock Trail (1.25 miles); Cedar Bluff Trail (1.5 miles)Fishing: Little Piney Creek is stocked with trout.Water play, tubing, wading: No lifeguard on duty.Picnicking: 2 large pavilions , mowed playing field, extensive playground for children. Daily rental for pavilions: $34.00 throughReserveUSA.com March 1 through October 31. Day use fee: $2 per standard vehicle; $10 for buses. Season pass $20.
