Description
This is a large, open campground, with little screening between campsites. There's not much solitude or privacy, but you'll have a good opportunity to socialize with adjacent campers.Float camp is concession-operated, and open year-round with on-site host to assist you.

Directions
From Doniphan, MO take Hwy Y north 4 miles. Campground is on the east bank of Current River.Activities
Fishing: Bass, goggle-eye, catfish, walleye.Picnicking: April 30 thru October 11. Pavilion; reserve for $34 per day. ReserveUSA.com. Day use fee is $2 per standard vehicle; buses are $10. Season pass $20.Hiking: Woodchuck Trail, White Oak TrailBoating, canoeing: private rentals nearby. Hot summer days attract hundreds of weekend floaters and others who enjoy a chance to cool off in the river. Be safe! No lifeguard on duty.Guidebooks
