Description
Between Lexington and Louisville, near many of Kentuckys popular attractions. Taylorsville Lake is located in central Kentuckys famed Bluegrass Country. Historic log structures have been relocated near the Visitor Center. The lake was completed by the Corps of Engineers in 1983.Directions
From Taylorsville, 3 mi E on KY 44, then 2 mi W on KY 2239 to dam.Activities

(0 out of 0 members found this review useful.)If you need a place to sleep in a tent overnight, this is it and only that. No shade, no privacy. About $12/night. You have to walk a ways to get to the lake and it's really just for boats.
