Description

Straits State Park is located on Church Street, in the City of St. Ignace, south of US-2. Within the park is a picnic area and an observation platform overlooking the Mackinac Bridge and the Straits of Mackinac. Straits State Park was established in 1924.The campground is closed for winter. Information about winter camping opportunities is available on the DNR web site.

No better views of the bridge than from here. The beach is not a beach at all, it's very mucky. Good spot to take day trips to the UP
