(1 out of 1 members found this review useful.)My wife and I stopped for our first time and spent a few hours at the beach. What a beautiful spot with crystal clear calm water that you can wade out 300' and be only waist deep.
The camping area looked like very nice and said it's a place we would return to and camp at some point.

(1 out of 1 members found this review useful.)We have camped here 3 or 4 times. My kids request a trip to Ossineke over all the other private and State Campgrounds we have utilized over the past 6 or 7 years. Great beach areas and lots of privacy.

(2 out of 2 members found this review useful.)Ossineke is a beautiful rustic campground. A quarter of the sites are in view of the bay, and the others are nestled in a lovely wooded setting. Pit toilets only! A great place to spend a few nights! Visit the campy Dinosaur Gardens with the kids, and also a huge playground just off the highway on the way into the campground. Wonderful, quiet, peaceful stay; we went last year on 4trh of July weekend and still found a spot!
