Campground is on the Dollarville dam backwater. Not Dallarville. Coming from east or west on M-28, look for the Dollarville sign.

Stayed here many years go prior to a canoe trip on the Tahquamenon River. There are closer campgrounds to the Tahq. But this one is secluded and very quiet. My canoe partner and I were the only ones in the campground and it was mid-summer when we were there.
As with just about any area of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, black bear presence is guaranteed. If you have a hard-topped vehicle at Natalie Campground, keep anything that would attract a bear locked inside.

The Newberry area, in general, as much to offer an outdoors person. I regard that part of the U.P. as one of the best in the state of Michigan.
