Description
Green Ridge is the second largest of Marylands State Forests consisting of a 44,000-acre oak-hickory forest. It is located in eastern Allegany County, approximately eight miles east of Flintstone off exit 64 on I-68. The forest is located in the Ridge and Valley Province of the Allegheny Mountain chain. Magnificent views of the surrounding landscape can be seen from Point Lookout, Banners, Logroll, Warrier Mountain and No Name Overlooks. This is a Maryland State Forest. (1 out of 1 members found this review useful.)Awesome campground camp sites are a mile apart no one bothers you. in the valley or on top it is all very beautiful! 18 mile loop for off road vehicles its awesome only 10 dollars a night for 6 people 1 dollar for each add. person. I go every year it is great!
