Description
Davis Dam Camp is located just below Davis Dam on the Arizona side of the Colorado River. This is a picturesque area with excellent views of the dam, sunsets, and the surrounding mountains. This park accomodates both the day use, as well as the long-term visits, and even includes two cottages available for daily rental. Features include a 3-lane boat ramp, 157 full service hookups, 30 hookups with water and electricity, 5 restrooms with shower facilities, a laundermat, dump station, a group picnic area with a ramada, a large open area for dry camping, and a day use area with 4 ramadas. A boat and RV storage facility is also available. For those with special needs there is an accessible fishing pier, accessible boat embarcation ramp, and 10 accessible ramada sites. Davis Dam Camp was built to house the workers who constructed Davis Dam. A few of the original camp buildings remain, although they have been altered. A local museum is next door to the park and an important petroglyph site is within the boundaries of the park.Directions

(0 out of 0 members found this review useful.)Very crowded beach campground, right along the Colorado River. I guess the only benefits to this place is that you can walk to gambling in Laughlin, across the River, and have access to your boat and or jet ski.
