Love it. Spacious. Fishing and the Beach are great. We had kids ages 3 to 11 and they enjoyed it very much.
We go every year right before school begins. We always have a great time.

we just got back from camping at Quakertown campgrounds at Brookville Lake. Overall it was a good time. We had kids age ranging from 2 to 19 and they loved it. Yes there was one night where some people got a little loud with their party, but isn't camping suppose to be to get away from it all and enjoy yourself. Bathroom and Showers were extra clean and the beach was a hop, skip and a jump. The lake had great fishing and bank fishing just over the bridge outside of the campground. There was alot of kids there and new friends were made. We are from Ohio and will be going back again.

Camped with kids at Brookville Mounds. Very crowded, noisy after quiet hours, worst camp I've found in Indiana.

I have camped at the electric hook up area at Brookville Mounds more than a few times. In this area they have a nice smaller playground for the kids and also have a small fishing pond for kids only. The restroom and shower area are kept very clean. There is hiking trails and a beach close by. And a boat ramp that is also near. It would be Garr Hill, I think. But the water gets crowded on the weekend, but fishing thru the week is pretty good. It's known for its Walleye!

I really like brookville for a fun weekend away with my kids and family. I take offense to the people calling everyone names just because they like the lake. If you don't like it don't go there. It will much more pleasant without the negativity

Brookville Lake campground, like many in Indiana, is a reclaimed cornfield with trees around the edge. This creates a noisy woodland bowl in which you can hear a sneeze on the other side of the campground at three in the morning. To top it off, this place is full of OH, IN, and KY rednecks out to boat on the lake. Avoid if you like peace and quiet, or if you can't stand the smell of beer.
