Description
Seneca Shadows is the newest campground in the Spruce Knob-Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area. Many sites offer outstanding views of the 900 foot Seneca Rocks. This campground is a popular base camp for visitors while traveling through the Potomac Highlands.Directions
Take US Route 33 south from Seneca Rocks, WV for one mile.Activities

Services
There are 25 conventional drive-in campsites in Loops A & B. The 13 sites in Loop C include electric hookups. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, tent pad, lantern holder and paved parking large enough to accommodate two vehicles and 8 people. Some double sites are offered that can accommodate 4 vehicles and 16 people. All loops have modern flush toilets with showers.Group sites D, E, & F can accommodate groups up to 40 people per site. Each group site has five tables and tent pads, a barbecue, fire ring and separate parking areas.Forty walk-in sites that offer a great view of the rocks are available at the north end of the campground. Each site has a picnic table, tent pad, lantern holder and fire ring.A wheelchair friendly bathhouse is available and an outdoor amphitheater is on hand for group meetings at no additional cost.A dump station is available.Reservation info
The following campsites are reservable: sites 11-25 in Loop B, sites 26-31, 33, 35, 37, 38 in Loop C and walk-in sites 41-59 and 70-80. Reservations must be made at least 4 days prior to your stay and can be made 240 days in advance. Group campsites can be reserved 360 days in advance.
