Kelty Light Year 25 Degree - Sleeping Bag

Category: Sleeping Bags

The Kelty Light Year 25 Degree Down sleeping bag weighs only 2 lb 2 oz and compresses into a 7 x 13 stuff sack for easy packing. The Light Year is filled with 650 down. Down not only has a soft, comfortable feel, it has the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. The feathers and fibers are known for their efficiency in trapping body heat and are very easily compressed, taking up less space in your pack. The one downfall to this insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet. Kelty's Light Year series of backpacking sleeping bags is designed to be ultralight, yet Kelty still manages to include features you've come to expect in a quality bag. There's a draft tube along the length of the hip-length zipper to prevent drafts, and a zippered foot vent for warmer weather ventilation. For convenience, the Light Year series features Kelty's FatMan and Ribbon drawcords, where one cord is rounded and fat, the other is flat, so you can adjust the top or lower sections of the hood by feel when it's dark outside. Nylon stuff sack and cotton storage sacks are included. Men's regular size fits to 6' 0"".
